I am doing this for a friend of mine as an album cover.

Tada! Meditation Man, a superhero with physic and healing powers.

So this a superhero version of my bf marc. He is meditation man with the power to sooth the mind. His arch-nemsis is stress man obviously. Gonna do a colored version ill keep you posted :)

I was working on this as a concept for a video game. Where a knight has to speak with a forest spirit and/ or fight him. It is unfinished. 

Thor

I got back my laptop today and finished Thor.

This is what I had until my laptop crashed. I have to get a new hard-drive and have my school reinstall all of the programs. I don't know how long that is going to be. Hopefully, soon. 

This is it so far. I am had so much fun drawing all those muscles. I am glad i added the veins they make him look so much more powerful. I had to find a lot of body building reference photos for this one. 

The lightening god Thor. I've always been a big fan of fantasy, mythology, and religion; also superheroes. I am excited for the new Avengers movie. Thor is a pretty bad ass character in the Marvel Comic books. However, I don't really care for the costumes in the movies because, in my mind he is suppose to look like a viking. In the movies I feel that he looks too much like a California surfer. I find marvel comics are more closely related to the classic myths, although in the myths Thor is red haired. And his brother Loki isn't exactly evil, or corrupt, he is the god of mischief and he likes to play tricks on his brother.

I have been working on this for a few days now. I decided to make the girl sitting a winter spirit melting away. 

Here is another practice piece. I used a stock image that I pulled from deviantart.com, which i will display later when I have finished. I did this at a work station in the airport before my flight. This time I used a soft brush in photoshop. I changed the face slightly from the photograph. I think that she looks a lot like Anne Hathaway. 

So far I sketched the characters. I need to draw in the background next. I have to look up some reference for the city. Maybe even watch a Godzilla movie.

I stayed up tonight to practice digital painting. I downloaded some different brushes and played around with them. Here I painted an apple with a brush that mimics a dry brush or chalk pastel.
